The Hand of God represents many variations on the theme of Creation, but the most appropriate for this installation is its symbolism as the 1st Ray of Theosophy. As the Divine Will-to-Be, it portrays what Science calls the "Big Bang" - that moment wherein the One created the universe of All That Is.  It is the beginning, and subsequent sustaining, of Life in all its infinite forms. It is the Christian "WORD" made manifest.
